Photo Book Price in India in 2026, Explained Page by Page
If you have searched for a photo book price in India, you have probably seen numbers from a few hundred rupees to a few thousand, with no clear reason for the gap. This post explains what you are actually paying for: paper, binding, page count, cover, and delivery. It gives you one honest way to compare any two books, which is price per page. And it states what our own books cost, plainly, so you can do the maths yourself.
What drives the price of a photo book
A photo book is a print run of one. Everything is made for you alone, so the cost is mostly materials and the work of putting them together. Five things move the number.
Paper. This is the biggest one. Thin paper prints flat, dull colours and lets the other side of the page show through. Proper art paper holds ink, keeps colours deep, and does not curl. All three of our books are printed on glossy art paper. It costs more, and it is the reason a book looks like a book and not a stapled printout.
Binding. In a standard hardcover the pages curve into the spine, so a little of each photo disappears near the middle. Lay-flat binding opens a full 180 degrees, so one photo can run across both pages with nothing lost. Lay-flat costs more to make, which is why it is usually the dearest option wherever it is offered. Page count. More pages means more paper and more printing. The base page count varies a lot between services, which is exactly why two books with the same headline price can be very different sizes.
Cover. A hardcover with a laminate costs more than a soft cover, and it lasts a lot longer. Our covers are hardcover with a gloss laminate, so they survive being passed around a room.
Delivery. Some services include it. Others add it at checkout. Always check before you compare.

The price per page column is the one I want you to look at. The headline prices look like three separate tiers. Per page, they are almost the same book. What you are really choosing between is size, binding, and how many photos you want to fit.
Why price per page is the honest comparison
A headline price tells you nothing until you know what is inside it. A book listed at a low price with 10 pages and a soft cover is not cheaper than a book at a higher price with 26 pages and a hardcover. It is just smaller.
So before you compare any two photo books, do this:
- Find the base page count, not the maximum.
- Check whether the cover is hardcover and whether it is included in the price.
- Check whether delivery is included or added at checkout.
- Divide the final checkout price by the page count.

A word on extra pages. Ours cost ₹40 each, which is well under the per-page price of the base book. That is because the cover, binding and setup are already paid for. If you are on the fence between 26 pages and 30, the extra four pages cost ₹160, not four times the base rate. Each page side takes up to 4 photos, so those four extra pages can carry up to 16 more photos.
Which book gives you the most for your money?
It depends on how many photos you have, and that should be the first question, not the price.
The Zine at 10x10 inch holds up to about 80 photos. It is the right book for a weekend trip or a single event. It is also a good gift size, square and easy to wrap.
The Classic at A4 holds up to 104 photos. This is the book for a proper week away. A4 is big enough for a full-page photo to feel like a print.
The Heirloom is A4 with lay-flat binding and holds up to 128 photos. The extra ₹400 over the Classic buys you six more pages and the 180 degree spread. If you have landscapes or group photos you want to run across two pages, this is the one.
